Manu Bhakar, born 18 February 2002, is an Indian shooter who competes in the Olympics. He won two bronze medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. She created history by winning India’s first medal in the women’s 10-metre air pistol event, becoming the first Indian woman shooter to achieve the feat at the Olympics. At the same Olympics he won another bronze in the mixed 10-meter air pistol team event with Sarabjot Singh. This made her the first Indian woman to win two Olympic medals and the first Indian to achieve this feat since independence. Prior to this, she won a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games at the age of 16 and became the youngest Indian to win a gold at the 2018 ISSF World Cup.
